Todays flight was down to South Hill VA, then up to Pittsburgh PA and then back home. Our passenger’s were Kendall (a very Smart and Cute 9 year old young Lady) and her Mom Sindy. This is the 2nd time we have had the pleasure of flying Miss Kendall (last time was in 2012) She is certainly a pleasure to be around ! ….. She is such a positive young lady that just makes ones heart melt ! (And she loves to Fly !) The flight today was mostly in IMC (Instrument Meteorological Conditions / little visibility) We had quite a bit of headwinds heading to Pittsburgh with considerable wave action over the mountains. What rain we encountered was very light. Ride was fairly smooth with a little light chop at times. We landed at Allegheny County (Pittsburgh) on a Localizer 28 Instrument Approach… breaking out of the clouds at around 2500 feet. The ride back to home base was helped along by some pretty good tail winds (around 25 knots) We were able to do a visual to runway 22 and we tucked 49Bravo back into her hanger eagerly looking forward to our next flight !
Total distance covered this Mission was 507 miles covering 4 States. Total time was 4.6 hours with 3.6 of it in IMC. This was Captain Johns 355th Angel Flight and Nevins 241st. Following below are some pictures of Angel Flight 2134 on November 3rd 2016.

Kandi McInturff…… We are so grateful and blessed to have friends like you! Your ministry goes far above transporting your passengers. It reaches their souls and blesses their hearts along with all those who know you. Your selflessness, compassion, and care are an inspiration and motivation us all to come up higher in our own lives. Thank you for all you do for so many!
Thank You So Much Kandi for those kind words ! We are very richly rewarded by all the Hugs and Smiles we get along with always seeing that the things in Life that mean the most are the very things that cannot be bought with money. Thanks again and thank you for following our flights ! Captain John and Nevin
