On this flight we departed home base Luray and headed for Hamilton Ohio…. (Near Cincinnati). Flight conditions were smooth and clear with a fairly strong headwind component. Our approach into Butler County Regional was a visual to runway 29. Shortly after we landed, Steven Pearson landed with our passenger Rebecca (Steve had flown Rebecca from Chicago) After all of our greetings (and some Easter Goodies provided by the FBO… Cincinnati Jet Center) we departed for Dublin Virginia to deliver Rebecca Home. Flight conditions heading to New River Valley Airport were very choppy with considerable mountain wave action and as we cruised along with a favorable tailwind we enjoyed good conversation with our passenger, Rebecca (loved her humor) ! Our approach into New River Valley was a visual to runway six. Rebecca had a warm greeting by her Mother whom she had not seen in six months (she had been in Florida) After saying our goodbyes and exchanging big hugs, we departed New River Valley heading home. Our flight back to home base was fairly smooth and at one point we flew thru quite a lot of forest fire smoke. Our approach into home base Luray was a visual to runway 4. After tucking 49 Bravo back into her hanger we enjoyed a nice cup of coffee and headed home. Thanks so much for viewing and we hope you enjoy the following photos of our flight ! Have a Great Day!
